I have a brown discharge for a month now. i went to a doctor and she gave me antibiotics because she said i might have an infection. they also tested my urine but it was clean. i finished the antibiotics now but the brown discharge is still there.

Vaginal discharge: Keep working with your doctor. Any abnormal vaginal discharge needs care until the diagnosis is known and proper treatment given. There are several possible causes, including several infections that respond to different antibiotics. Make sure you have been tested for STDs (gonorrhea, chlamydia, trichomonas) common causes of colored discharge. In meantime, do not douche, can be harmful. Good luck!
