Doctor can examine: Hard to guess what a long fleshy thing is, but it might be a remnant of a hymen. "Long" means different sizes to different people. So, one's primary care doctor or Ob-Gyn doctor can take a look and probably easily decide what it is and whether or not anything needs to be done. An in-person visit will work, but a video consultation with a good camera may also suffice.
