A member asked:

I'm having chest pains

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Question too vague: Usually, a person with chest pain should see his doctor to be examined. Pains can come from a heart problem (serious!), neck or shoulder muscles, ribs and their joints, pleural lining of the lungs or ribs, the lungs themselves, etc... If one feels his pain is coming from the heart, has a chest tightness, some difficulty breathing, or has past heart disease, he can call for an ambulance, 911 in US.
