Doctor should check: Most people get a headache at some time, such as from colds, infections, lack of sleep, too much driving, long hours on computers, stress at work, etc... A severe or increasing headache, recurrent headache, weird headache, or with other worrisome symptoms should be evaluate. That said, one's doctor can examine to see if the swelling is muscle, lymph node, cyst, abscess, allergic reaction, etc...
