About 5 months ago i had knee revision surgery. last night one of my maine coon cats attacked me rather badly when i was trying to medicate her, drawing blood via teeth and nails. i understand that this could have serious implications? what do i do?

Cat scratch: Cat-scratch disease is caused by direct inoculation of Bartonella henselae under skin by trauma. Typically 3 to 5 days after the scratch erythematous papules develop and adenopathy. The disease can lead to conjunctivitis and possible encephalopathy.
