Depends: What your daughter experienced sounds like a typical gut virus which kids that age have 1-3X/yr. Hep A usually comes on as unexplained jaundice after someone has been infected. You should contact your doc as they sometimes give gamma globulin to exposed persons to prevent an outbreak.
