I get intermittent pain over my heart.

Doctor can evaluate: A person with aches at the heart, chest, rib cage, or left shoulder can see her doctor to be evaluated. Pains can come from a heart problem (serious!), the ribs and their joints, the lungs inside the chest, etc... If one feels her pain is coming from the heart, has a chest tightness, some difficulty breathing, or has past heart disease, she can go to the Emergency Room by ambulance.
