Good day please could you tell me if i should be concerned. i had bronchitis two weeks ago. i took the prescribed antibiotics as instructed by the dr. the past few days i hv pain in my left lung and in my back. it gets worse when i take deep breaths.

Exam needed: If you did a lot of forceful coughing during your bronchial infection this discomfort may be due to strained rib cage muscles or even a cracked rib. However it could also indicate the presence of pleurisy or a complication of pneumonia. It's best to have your physician check you and advise you. A chest xray may be recommended.
