"bellybutton pain": Need more information re: laparoscopy: reason, biopsy ? Pain from any surgical procedure can occur secondary to scar tissue formation and the activity connected to the area of pain. Spotting can occur for multiple reasons, but if pregnancy is possible, see your gyn physician for an exam and testing: a serum HCG test is very accurate for pregnancy.
