"Fracture" = "Broken: however you need an absolute diagnosis of WHERE and HOW SERIOUS since ankle fractures vary from rather "simple" AVULSION fractures (Bad "sprain") to MALLEOLAR fractures (requiring advanced treatment. FIRST THINGS FIRST...go to urgent care or your GP or Hospital ER for an XRAY!!! Hope this is helpful! Dr Z
