Im on suboxone & have surgery soon. i know it blocks most opiates from being effective although i hear oxymorphone(opana) has better success then the others in pain relief for post surgery ppl on suboxone then most other painkillers. is this true?

My Opinion Only: 1. TELL YOUR SUGEON 2. TELL YOUR ANESTHESIOLOGIST 3. Make sure that the Physician who placed you on Suboxone is available for your planned surgery! Hope this helps! Dr Z
