"Mini-pill" ?'s: The "mini-pill" is a progesterone analog, and missing "one pill" should not be the cause of a "heavy flow" of bleeding. Ovulation may still occur while on the mini-pill, and at 36, there are other causes of vaginal bleeding (fibroids, polyps, etc.). See your gyn physician for an exam and other testing to determine the cause.
