Fibroid: Fibroid tumors can effect 10% to 30 % of pregnancies. A 5 cm fibroid is significant and can cause problems especially in third trimester. The problems can include the following: fetal growth restriction, placental abruption, preterm delivery, cesarean delivery, breech position, miscarriage. Complications depend on where the fibroid is. Make sure you communicate with your OB.
