A doctor has provided 1 answer

Try Physical Medic.: Can try a physical medicine (physiatry) doctor to figure things out. Possible causes of mid-upper back pain include: back muscle strain, back ligament sprain, spine joint inflammation, herniated disc, spinal stenosis, rib and rib joint problems, lung and pleura disorders, fractured vertebra, fibromyalgia, etc... So, with such a long list of possibilities, the doctor needs to examine in-person.
