A member asked:

Have right upper abdominal pain in third trimester of pregnancy.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ob-Gyn can evaluate: Many things are in the upper abdomen: stomach, pancreas, liver, small intestine, gall bladder, large intestine, abdominal muscles, etc... Exam by a doctor can help figure things out, if symptoms are more than just mild. Pain in the upper abdomen, especially symptoms after eating, can be from heartburn, liver and gallbladder problems, etc... Gallbladder problems do increase in pregnancy.
