Yes: It would be wise to see a doc anyway to make sure chlamydia is the only exposure/problem you need to treat. However, the azithromycin is safe during any stage of pregnancy.

Chlamydia's friends: Chlamydia has friends called gonorrhea, syphilis, LGV, ureaplasma, herpes, trichomonas,... If you are a doctor and tested yourself and examined yourself, and are certain you have chlamydia without any of the above chlamydia friends, then the treatment is easy to figure out. Otherwise, an exam for STD's as well as samples for testing (swabs, blood, urine, etc...) are needed.
