Probably OK, but...: Assuming you're not on antibiotics for an STD, sex should be safe. If it's an STD problem, hold off on sex even with condoms until you have finished treatment and a few days after that. If it's an STD, your wife also needs to be treated before you have sex with her. If any doubt, check with her doctor.
