Elevated body temp: This is defined in humans a as a rise in core body temperature to at or above 100.4 F or 38 C degrees. It may be the normal body response to an illness as raising the core temperature increases blood flow that circulates healing immune factors. Minor fevers can be ignored but if they interfere with the kids activities/play fever reducers can help. If/when symptoms become worrisome seek evaluation.
