A member asked:

Can i have my regular monthly period for several months yet be pregnant?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Because a woman cannot have her normal regular period and also be pregnant at the same time, either she is not pregnant or the bleeding is not her regular period. The simplest way to figure this out is to do a home pregnancy test 3 or more weeks after sex. The test result will probably be negative in this particular case, but if she has sex after her last period, she might be newly pregnant now.
