I was just wondering if you can get epididymitis from using hair shampoo to wash your penis? ive had epididymitis before and im now having the same feeling and i dont know if that could be a cause.

Epididymitis: Soap or how you wash cannot cause epididymitis. Most epididymitis is due to infection, especially chlamydia or gonorrhea at your age. Other infections also can do it. Drug allergy is another cause. Pain and discomfort alone generally does not indicate epididymits, which is unlikely if no obvious testicular enlargement and tenderness. See your doctor if symptoms continue or you remain concerned.
