A member asked:

My son has a blister looking rash, want to know what it is and if he needs to see a doctor ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doctor can examine: Rashes can be hard to figure out without looking at them. Blisters can be viral (eg: chicken pox), bacterial, or contact dermatitis. A rash can also happen sometimes if a person's body is reacting to a viral or bacterial infection (sort of like an allergic reaction). Strep throat bacteria can make a toxin that causes reddish rashes. Allergy to certain foods or other substances can create rashes.
