May be concerning: If a person truly feels like there is something stuck in her throat, she can be evaluated at Emergency Room. The concern is that there is something stuck there could change positions and cause a big problem. At the ER, during the evaluation, imaging studies can be done, and specialists can be called, if there really is something stuck. Sometimes, it is hard to tell.
