More info needed: More information would be helpful for this. Headaches centered on the temple can be cluster headaches, migraines, or more ominous things like temporal arteritis. If having any vision changes or worrisome symptoms, go to the er asap. If this headache is new for you, then you definitely need to be seen by a doctor. Otherwise, trying Motrin and/or tylenol (acetaminophen) at the max otc dose may relieve the headache.
