Self awareness: I would not be concerned. If you tune in to your body you should be able to sense these things, but most just ignore them. If you are suddenly self aware it may be something triggered by some other less obvious fear about health or personal safety. If this becomes an obsession you need to find a life coach/therapist & learn how to identify & manage such issues.
