My baby had pus that covered her eyes and the general practitioner said it's neisseria gonorrhea that she might've contracted from me during the c-section but i was never diagnosed with gonorrhea or tested for it. should i get myself tested?

Test and treat: Gonorrhea of the eyes (ophthalmia neonatorum, gonococcal conjunctivitis) is unusual after C-section, mainly from vaginal delivery. Make sure baby tested positive for gonorrhea; other eye infections can appear identical. If gonorrhea confirmed or uncertain, for sure you need to be tested and treated for gonorrhea, even if your own test is negative. Your sex partner(s) also need treatment.
