Grief response: Grief is a natural reaction to loss & can last months or years. Depression with grief is not unusual. Support from family & friends is important now. Time with a pet dog or cat would also help. Don't drink too much alcohol, avoid illicit drugs, eat well, exercise regularly and get adequate sleep at night. If at anytime you feel you may hurt yourself or someone else please call a support hotline.

Group: funeral homes and hospitals often have grief groups that can be quite helpful as well
