Grief response: Grief is a natural reaction to loss & can last months or years. Depression with grief is not unusual. Support from family & friends is important now. Time with a pet dog or cat would also help. Don't drink too much alcohol, avoid illicit drugs, eat well, exercise regularly and get adequate sleep at night.
