Spotting/pain ?'s: PCOS usually makes true menstruation very irregular. Spotting and pain about a month after a menstrual event may indicate pregnancy, so get a serum HCG test to be certain. If negative, the spotting may be due to variations in estrogen levels , common in PCOS w/o ovulation. See your gyn for an exam and ask about low dose bcp's, better with PCOS (if that diagnosis is correct).
