A member asked:

Hi i want my child to do a dental check up. iam not sure if i need to pay cash upfront or not?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Fee for treatment: First and foremost, all children should have their 1st dental check-up at eruption of their 1st baby tooth, but no later than 1st birthday. Most General Dentists and Pediatric Dental Specialists, Pedodontists, request payment at the time service is rendered. If you have Dental insurance that will modify your out-of pocket expense. Call the office first and ask them to explain their policy.
