Heavy period ?'s: At 19, endometriosis can produce severe pain with menstruation. Rarely, endometriosis of the uterine muscle (adenomyosis) can cause both pain and heavy menstrual bleeding. Ask your gyn physician about low dose oral contraceptives, which may control both pain and bleeding.
