Depends: When the proper form of this drug (no generics) is injected into muscle (as routine), it does not enter mom's circulation (or breast milk) & pose a risk to the infant. Waiting a few hours to feed would likely eliminate any perceived risk. We have little data on this either way, but the available data suggests it is relatively safe when properly used.
