Depends: The chlamydia germ does not survive well on dry surfaces and is usually transmitted by moist secretions to a moist mucous membrane. If there are surfaces that you touch constantly, like your cell phone, it makes sense to be diligent and sanitize those things. If you haven't touched an object for a few days, it is unlikely to be a source of transmission.
