Some possibilities: If one has very uncomfortable tummy pain, and is normally in good health, the possibilities include: appendicitis (usually has fever), liver inflammation, gall stones, kidney stone (very painful), constipation (crampy), stomach flu, etc... Patients with "moderate or severe" pain, meaning worse than mild, need a doctor's evaluation to be sure it is not something urgently serious like appendicitis.
