Runny nose: The differential diagnosis is between a viral upper respiratory tract infect(- a common cold) or allergies. Ragweed is a common cause of allergic rhinitis. If there is no evident head cold, take an antihistamine medication and use a decongestant nasal spray. Often a prescription corticosteroid spray is needed to control allergic rhinitis.
