A member asked:

I had squamous but two months later i had a cyst rupture. can it cause a strange test result?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Rephrase, please: Ascus (or atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance) is a finding on pap smear which is very common and not necessarily serious. It should be followed, especially if hpv is positive. I don't know what you mean by 'strange test result'. What test ?
