A member asked:

My partner and i have had intercourse with only each other, but it was unprotected most of the time. is it possible for me to get an sti? he never had one.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

The basics: You can only get a STD from someone who has one. Some, like strains of HPV may never have any symptoms in either gender. If your significant other ever had sex with someone else, you may have one.
