Hepatitis B: These results, like the HBcAb, are indeterminate. They suggest either past hepatitis B or previous vaccination against it. Check back with the doctor or clinic where the test was ordered; additional testing may be required. Either way, you do not have currently active hepatitis B.

Agree with Dr. H: You may wish to get retested in three months. If the antibody to Hep B core turns positive, it would mean that you were infected with the virus. If so , to rule out active infection, you would need to get a nucleic acid test.
