A member asked:

I can see an anal fistula. i've been having a lot of problems also with bloating, gas, acid reflux, fatigue, headaches. are they correlated?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Gastroenterologist: An anal fistula can occur in inflammatory bowel disease, specifically Crohn's disease. Your other symptoms could be somewhat related or there could be gluten intolerance. I highly recommend an evaluation by a gastroenterologist. Appropriate tests will be done. Referral may be made to a colorectal surgeon to treat the fistula.
