A member asked:

Can a drug urine test, minimally a 10 panel test, specify if codeine is present rather than just stating the codeine containing substance found is an opioid?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not that specific : The 10 panel screen identifies opioids as a group. It doesn’t distinguish which opioids are present. Often a follow on test is used to confirm the screen. Typically, a gas chromatography mass spectrometer ( gc/mass spec) is used. This test can identify which opioid is present.
