I'm 27 years old male i began choking on lemonade yesterday which wasn't a concern but right after i tried to breath and it felt like my throat locked up i was gasping for air i've choked on liquids before but never had this happen before?

Aspiration : When liquid touches the vocal cords, they close momentarily and this may explain your symptoms. Watch for signs of prolonged cough, chest pain and problems breathing. If these occur then please see a physician right away.
