Interaction: Sotalol and Metoprolol do not have interaction. The doses for both are at the lower end. Combination is not uncommon an prescribed for arryhtmias. Make sure you are followed by the provider your are working with and take the medication as directed. Too much of either can slow heart too much.

Yes: They act together to slow a rapid heart rate like atrial fibrillation and other very rapid heartbeat. Dosing must be adjusted as per your physician.
