BCP ?'s: Low dose combination oral contraceptives require very punctual schedules, and delays in taking the active pills will occasionally result in withdrawal "spotting" or even a light "menstrual" flow. Failure to start a given cycle exactly seven (or less) days after the last active pill can allow pregnancy. To be certain about pregnancy, obtain a serum HCG test.

Back pain: Low back pain radiating into the leg is characteristic of a bulging or ruptured disc in the lower vertebral region. Most of these cases resolve and don't need surgery but it may take several weeks. If you're pregnant collaboration between your obstetrician and a neurologist or neurosurgeon will be needed to determine the best therapy and medications to relieve your symptoms. ?MRI ok with pregnanc
