Can stomach ulcers go away on there own?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly: There are likely some that occur & self heal. Chance avoidance of aggravating foods/factors might help them. I expect they happened in the 18th century when few treatments were available. These would be the ones that never caused enough symptoms to trigger an evaluation. Noticed ulcers tend to worsen over time. Why someone would avoid available treatment is unknown.
