My 16 year old son has been seen by a gastroenterologist for severe stomach pain,he was diagnosed with eoe. his dr. has dismissed my concern about the severe stomach pain, how can i make my child comfortable?

In the short term sometimes a heating pad held over the focus of discomfort tricks the brain into recognizing the warmth rather than pain.
