Doubtful: rabies is transmitted from the infected saliva and blood. An open wound is usually the open source of entry.

Not for long: The rabies virus might live for up to 2 hours in saliva but for only about 10 to 20 minutes in sunlight. It is easily inactivated by heat, detergent & disinfectants.
