I have an wound from a dog bite that is itchy and not drying. how do i get it to dry ?

Options: I like to clean these with hydrogen peroxide that has both cleansing & germ killing potential. I then blot the area with a sterile pad to remove some moisture followed by blowing the area dry with a hair dryer.(low or no heat setting) Then cover as needed with a loose sterile dressing that can breathe.

Bacitracin: Watch for pus or swelling- keep the area dry by blotting the wound with sterile gauze. Apply a thin layer of Bacitracin ointment three times daily.
