Probably infection: A thick white vaginal discharge associated with vaginal itching is most likely a yeast infection. It can also cause dryness and irritation. I would recommend going to your local pharmacy and buying an over-the-counter medication, like monistat, to treat it. Also, wait a week before resuming intercourse.
