Depenss: When someone has been using the the pill correctly for months or longer the risks of pregnancy are the same on the sugar pills as the active hormone. If you are having cramping it is likely not an issue of pregnancy but something else. If it helps do a test but I consider that only to give you some peace of mind. If the cramping gets bad call your doc.

Pregnancy: There is a low risk of pregnancy with pill use. The pill reduces pregnancy by 99.7 percent. However, that does mean out of 1000 people using pill correctly 3 get pregnant. If you are concerned about pregnancy check a home pregnancy test. This is reliable and will put your mind and ease.
