My daughter was treated my our doctor yesterday.she was diagnosed with a respiratory infection.. her coughing seems to be getting worse despite the meds prescribed. can i nebulise her with pulmicort.

Respiratory distress: If she is struggling to breathe, please go to the ED. A cough associated with cold symptoms is often related to post nasal drip. Nasal saline is used to reduce cough due to post nasal drip, and to relieve nasal congestion.Please see your PCP, and if you have a nebulizer, a quick reliever medication such as Albuterol may improve a cough related to bronchospasm.
