Light periods: bcp's: Today's oral contracteptives contain very low amounts of hormones, and therefore the lining of the uterus is much more thin than w/o birth control pills. If your period is "on time" , and not between times, this may be just related to the low estrogen in the pill. If pregnancy is possible, get a serum HCG test to be certain.
