A member asked:

Should men shave their pubic hair to be more hygienic and so the scrotum keeps the testicles cooler?

Pubic shaving: Pubic area shaving has absolutely no health benefits except one: the risk of pubic lice ("crabs") is lower. Bathing or showering once a day, and washing the pubic area with soap and water, is just as good hygiene whether or not one is shaved. Shaving makes absolutely no difference in scrotum temperature. (If that's a concern, use boxer shorts instead of jockey-type underwear.)
